Program Content

Fırat University Faculty of Pharmacy was established with the Presidential Decree dated March 07, 2022 and numbered 5259, published in the Official Gazette dated 08.03.2022 and numbered 31772. The language of instruction is Turkish. The annual quota is 51 students in total. In educational programming, the Minimum Requirements and General Principles determined in accordance with the Core Education Program (CEP) for the Initiation and Continuation of Education and Training in Pharmacy Programs are followed.

Fırat University Faculty of Pharmacy aims to train qualified pharmacists who are experts in their field, who can assume duties and responsibilities at every stage of drug research, development and delivery to patients, who contribute to science in universal criteria, who aim lifelong learning, who make the right decision, who communicate effectively, who are educators, researchers and entrepreneurs, who contribute to public health, who are internationally recognized, who are sought after in every field of pharmacy.

A multidisciplinary training program based on the discovery, production, control and marketing processes of natural and synthetic drugs and patient-oriented pharmaceutical care is planned. It is aimed to gain practical skills and internships are planned for students in pharmacies, hospitals and pharmaceutical companies related to their professions. The curriculum is organized in the form of compulsory and elective theoretical courses, laboratory and internship practices to cover the basic functions of pharmacy as well as the current roles of the pharmacy profession. With 1 Professor, 6 Assistant Professors and 5 Research Assistants, education and training is carried out with a young, dynamic and strong academic staff and research activities are carried out at national and international level.

•It aims to educate individuals who are qualified in the field of education and research, prioritise scientific and ethical values,  continuously develop/renew themselves in personal and professional fields, have social responsibility awareness, and can assume effective duties and responsibilities in drug research, development and delivery processes.
